1. Medicament used for this purpose includes oils prepared with herbal drugs or powders of drugs.

2. A type of pressure point massage in which oil is used according to ailments.

3. Medicated steam bath in which a person is made to sweat .It is given after the
   massage. Sweating Therapy helps detoxify the body & kick start the invigorating metabolic processes.

4. A type of fomentation given by poultice. Poultice contains herbal drugs in the form of leaves or churna (crushed form of medicine).

5. The patient is made to lie on a Droni (a plank specially designated for the purpose). This is performed only on the portions below the neck & the duration can be one & a half hour.

6. Massaging of body with the linen bags with navara rice (shastika) cooked in cow's milk & mixed with herbs after covering the body with medicated oils.

7. Liquid medications like medicated oils, milk, ghee, buttermilk, is poured continuously in an even stream on to the forehead from a prescribed height through a special apparatus called Dhara Vatika.

8. Long leather cap open at, is fitted around patients head and medicated oil at moderate temperature is poured.
